        Update: I bought a pack of snap caps and did DIY fix on the mag with pliers. By pulling the lip of the mag up just a little bit at a time, I was able to adjust it to the point where the bolt will now catch the cartridge (snap cap) without issue.

        I will need to take it to the range and do more testing. Basically the factory mag has too much play and it sat too low for the bolt. Again, I donno how this got passed QC at the factory.

        Lessons learned: wipe a little remoil on the metal snap caps so they don't get scratched up.

          RE; that last sentence... Be sure to clean out any of that lube from the chamber before firing it.
