I have a winchester model 70 mfg in 1952 in 80% condition. i put a Fajen A figured walnut monte carlo stock on it in 1983. Haven't fired it in 10 years has a bushnell scopechief on it and still has original buckhorn iron sights. Wondering what his would be worth in todays market? I have braas/ dies/ bullets loaded and new ammo.

If you had left it all original it would be worth a lot more. Pictures are needed to give you a good idea of what it might be worth but the gun took a big hit on the stock issue. It would be a nice hunting rig but as a collector piece it isn't going to be. sorry -
I have been looking for original stock. Missed a couple over the years. My dad took more than a dozen whitetails with it when I was growing up. In Michiigan and in southern Arizona Coues Whitetails near Elgin AZ.Comment

I have not looked for a while so I will start looking again. I don't have any non lead so I don't shoot it where I hunt. It is a joy to shoot. Years ago i took hogs and our Columbian smog deer with it.Comment

Maybe a bit optimistic. A post-war 80% gun in that caliber with original wood books around $1100.
What sellers ask, and what they get are usually two different things.Comment

If you decide to part with the Fajen I would probably be interested depending on features.
