To much for me to post. There was 5 bipod (4 comercially made, 1 homemade) and 3 monopods (1 Comercial, 2 homemade). I want to see what LynnJr comes up with for Big Red.

I'm thinking a more stable shooting bench is more important than a bipod, that is unless Lynn plans on joining us feral troglodytes in the dirt

I never understood the desire to shoot from the cleaning benches

Real shooters do it in the dirt

PS if Lynn want to post the pics I sent he can.

I would post them now but I have to delete some other pictures first as I am up against the limit.

I will probably shoot "Skunky" pictured below this weekend or "Black Death".
As soon as we move to 2500 or 3000 yard I will bring out " BlueBird" the SnipeTac.

I was going to head up the mountain as Im getting a room sat night, but I have 2-3 friends driving down sunday morning so I'll meet them at the gas station with you. And bring Bluebird anyway, so we can roll up to 2500 when the comp is over to see if somebody can finally get a hit!

How's the wind forecast looking for sunday morning??

I like to sit down when I'm thinking and if I'm shooting from prone, I'll sling it up like a real shooter, bipods are just a lower bench rest, lol.

                        Lynn,

When I get around to downloading the pics from my phone, I can send you some more if you want. But, Bob probably already sent you close to the same thing.

My body type (FAT) doesn't allow my manopod to be deployed enough to fully stabilize me on the ground.

Really, I just got tired of kicking up dust. dirt and other debris while shooting from the ground.

Once I can consistently shoot single digit aggs from the bench, I'll go back to the ground.

My bipod might turn into a tripod. I have several of the DW drummers thrones with three legs I was thinking of converting to tripods. They sit a little high at 14 inches and with a foot swap I can only get them down to 13 inches.
Skeeter I am going to stay on the mountain Saturday and will meet whomever shows up at 7:30.
