Anywhoo, they had M44's and 91/30's for sale.
Should of sold the stuff you don't need. I think the Mosin purist would only scream if it was something rare and they wanted it.

if you folks haven't listened to the podcast show called
          "the gun dudes"
          you're missing something really good.

and that's all they ever call the Mosins.

Yeah, I thought about it. But to be honest, I'm worn out from trying to sell stuff. Takes 37.2 seconds to pitch it.

There is tax on the gun, and DROS fees. Ensure you have a...firearms safety card for rifles, or some mess like that? Not sure as I'm exempt from that b.s.

And I'm using mineral spirits to get the cosmo off, but I'm only having to clean the barrel, bolt and action. The rest hit the trash. Not having to do a crazy job of cleaning those parts as my gunsmith is going to strip them before the cerakote. Mine seemed to be in good condition considering it was slathered in some nasty goo.

Not sure if I would use mineral spirits on the stock. Someone here who has dealt with that crap might have a better suggestion. I did keep the bayonet in case one of my neighbors gets out of line. Or democrats come to my door looking for me to join their party.

That smell is coming from your fingers, not the picture. Wash your hands.

This, you're literally throwing away money by throwing parts out.

Actually, I didn't throw any money out. The value of the parts that I didn't need vs., the time and energy it would have taken me to get rid of it, would have cost me money to try and play salesman. No thanks. But thank you for your concern, and it is understandable given your username.

Mineral spirits work on wood stock. Although i prefer heat for cosmo on wood.

That would be a very short trip in most parts of CA.

I was gonna suggest following behind a dog in order to get a moist nugget, but someone beat me to it.
