    Remington 700P Mod

I just got my Remington 700P LTR back from the US Firearms Co. I had them mill the barrel and install a surefire break. They milled and installed a badger nob on the bolt, a badger bottom metal magazine kit was installed, and a US Firearms Co. bipod installed. Scope is a Leopold Mark 4 ER/T.

Took it to the range and was grouping 1 MOA once I got it sited in. Would have been sub MOA if there wasn't a lot of wind and if I was a better shot.

    Anything I'm missing?

What about your trigger? Did they shorten the barrel? My 700P has a 26" barrel. Other than that, load development if you hand load and time at the bench.

      What your missing

Is the cash from your wallet. Im a ltr guy and hunt with my
223 and 308. They are stock and both shoot under .6 /100
With factory ammo. Thats fine with me but enjoy the rifle
      and your range time.

Aren't the LTR models with the triangular barrel? The 700P is a completely different gun, isn't it?

The inconvenience of poor quality lingers long after the thrill of a good bargain.

The LTRs have a large 3 flute design and are
Cylindrical not triangular like the VTR. The also
Come with HS precision stocks. The LTRS are
Part of the police series. I hope that helps to clarify
            The LTR.

Trigger time and keep at it.

Also remember this is the internet. So 90% of these .123462" groups these people shoot with their rifles is complete bull. If you have a MOA shooting rifle in novis hands you have a good rifle. 1/2" in skilled hands.

I've shot maybe all half MOA a few times in my life with my rifles. Honestly for me it's mostly luck. But I'm not trying to set records. I just ring steel on weekends and call it good.

Also set that bipod as far forward as you can. The wider the base, the more stable the shooter. Looks good tho bud.
