Ruger American 300 BO (6970)
The rifle has the shorter LOP and I mainly bought it for my young boys to shoot (what I tell the wife). I think the rifle will make a good platform for teaching them the basic's and the gun will be familiar to them when it's time to go hunt.
Now to dig out the 110gr .30cal spire points that get mangled in my 300BO semi autos to load up for this little beast.
I had to go to GB for this rifle and paid $375 including shipping. The 6970 is harder to find in stock then the 6968 (longer LOP)
I'll post some photos and a range report once the rifle is in hand.
