Precision, group sizes, and shooting setup?

On a related note to the "is your rifle a quarter minute" thread, is there any rule of thumb on how much advantage a given setup yields?

Example: you have a rifle that will shoot a 1.0 MOA 5-shot 100yd group out of a vise on a bench. How much would you expect that group, in the same conditions, to open up using:
    bench sandbags front and rear
bench bipod and bag rear support
bench bipod and freehand rear support
kneeling sling support, no rear support

... and so forth. Feel free to assume that the barrel is appropriately freefloated and all the supports like slings and bags won't affect the receiver/barrel directly.

The same precision is attainable, it just depends on the skill of the operator. The less support you use, the more difficult it is to attain in practice.

My dad would have said "No difference; if you're a Marine".

According to my calculations I'm minute of heart/lung from field positions.

I always like to feel that my prone position with jacket and target sling is rock solid. Many hi-master shooters claim they can shoot the same groups shooting prone. I'm not ready to make that claim but I will shoot my prone rifles in position to confirm my zero and groupings.

You have to earn it with a proprietary blend of post count, followers, and flat out lies.

Your set up in benchrest is very important.
The average everyday non shooter can shoot an unlimited heavygun for the first time and put 5 shots under 1/2 moa at 100 yards with relative ease.
You will find most actual shooters can't do that with there own guns.
Equipment is a huge part of the equation.

How the equipment is set up and how it is used are just as important as the ammo being used.
