Im going to the range tomorrow to zero in my scope at 100 yds got about 100d rds to put through it and test for accuracy.

Any opinions about this barrel break in? Anyone do it? Seems like a long process lol

As for barrel break in. You don't really need it for this barrel. What ever benefit you think you will get from a barrel break in, you will not notice.

Very nice! I was myself deciding between a gunsite scout, 700 sps, howa 1500, and mossberg mvp (all in .308). Ended up going with the MVP since someone was selling at a good price in the classifieds, but I'll always wonder how the 700 would have been.

No disrespect intended or anything, but maybe you miswrote this response?

The difference this rifle has with brake vs without a brake is substantial.

I own the exact same rifle and putting a surefire brake on it brought down the recoil to about 223 level. :P
