Try some RL15 and the 450s, your SD will be lower.

Why don't one of you guys out there get a Corbin bullet swage press and some dies ?
make your own dang bullets in any weight and profile you want.

If some of the other guys will buy bullets you make with it, it will cut the initial cost down for you and make it worthwhile for quite a few of you.

It's pretty easy to make SMK class bullets right out of the gate and with a bit of practice you'll be making better bullets than Bergers or your Vapor Trail stuff.

I've made my own bullets before. The problems are the cost, getting good jackets, and not being able to change bullet designs easily. Other than that it's a lot of fun.

Here is a standard 6BR next to a dasher in front of the last bullets ever made by Clay Spencer.
If anyone can make better bullets please do it as they run $60 a hundred delivered and only weigh 103 grains.
They own most of the long distance records in benchrest and quite a few in the other longrange disciplines.
I think Ed Eckhoff has a 6 mm bullet setup for sale at $10,000 or he will trade for equipment that will get his Studebaker into the 200 MPH club at Bonneville.

              Yup, that was me.

Just hope the Dasher load shoots as well this weekend as the FF loads did.
900rds down this Brux* still solid.
