Doing the 10 wait on my Savage 30-06 111, that will be used for my 6.5x55 rifle build. The rifle seems to used the same type of magazines as the Axis. Serial number is H4xxxxx, can this rifle be converted back to and hinged floor plate type magazine?. If not which magazine do I use, the one I have has no part number on it. A regular magazine won't work with your OEM stock. Do you plan on replacing it? If not, just keep the magazine as is.

If changing stock, then yes, you can get a metal magazine floor plate to swap, along with a metal magazine assembly.

Call Savage for part numbers or you can do a search on their website's part ordering section.

I just converted my Model 11 Trophy Predator Hunter to a Manners stock along with all parts necessary for the conversion through Savage. Metal trigger guard, magazine floor plate and magazine well assembly.
