Whats the value of a lever action 308 box fed Winchester in decent conditioN. It was made in 1977

If you expect anyone to help you, you need to post a little more information. Winchester made a couple of box fed lever guns. A model 88 which is box fed and a 1895 which is box fed ( but wasn't chambered in 308 Winchester).

I would be assuming you may be referring to a model 88, which was made in 308 Winchester, but the model 88 was discontinued by winchester in 1973, not 1977.

About a year ago I was checking the selling prices of Winchester 88s on Gunbroker. I found 19 actual sales and the average price came out to $620

if the gun is in good condition, 350 would be a great deal IMHP.

be sure it has a mag or 2 as that is the hard to get part.

Depending what features that Model 88 has will call a fair price. Does it have the nice finished stock? Is the front sight protected by a hood? How's the overall finish?

$900 is a fair asking price for the nicer model if it's in 90+ % condition.
