Marlin X7 .308

Had a Vortex 4-12 laying around not being used, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the $249 PSA deal for a new Marlin X7 /.308 for the sole purpose of adding a bolt gun to the safe and reaching out to touch the zombies if they come over the ridge about 400-450 yds from the back porch. Not expecting world class.

Anyone have one of these? Did I pay too much for a little bang-bang fun?

I don't know about the price being good or not, it looks good. I had a Marlin in 25-06 it shot "very" good, not only hand loads but it shot factory ammo very well. If yous is as good as mine was you wont be disappointed. Enjoy your new rifle.
