i want the scout mvp but dont need one. kuddos to them for listening to customers needs but minus points for balking at the .300 Blackout

if this is new it wont be avail til end of third quarter i.e. fall or winter of 2015

Maybe a play on the Ruger "American"??

I would expect budget pricing and a bit of the typical Mossberg slop.

      Meh.

Looks pretty interesting. The price is attractive $450 for a 300win mag.

It's getting good reviews and scored 92 in the OL review. It got knocked down a bit on the recoil. I shoot Remington 700's but would consider this rifle.

Is this a revamped version of the 100 ATR series?

BUT............The barrels are as easy to swap out and headspace like the Savage rifles are, and can be done very easily. Tooling to do everything is around a hundred bucks, and barrels are being made by Tony Rumore of Tromix. They have had great success by those who have tried them. He was going to make a bunch of runs of various calibers, but are being put on hold due to dismal sales, but the knowledge of them being out isn't really out there in the public yet.

Seems there is a laminate stock soon to be available.
Pretty affordable. Still no 300 BO

I'm not a fan of new Mossberg products their quality and customer service just plain suck. I bought a new 590 right out of a sealed box it was dinged up the inside of the reciever was chewed to shreds. Turners made it right but Mossberg said that it was acceptable. I canceled my 2nd order with them and will never buy any of their products. Horrible experience.
