They also make one for Savages, Alpha-180.

And there's also the XLR Element chasis, which available for alot of platforms.

McRees Precision makes chassis for the savage platform and they are pretty reasonably priced.

Not sure if the Savage fits into an AI chassis, but if it does, you can get great deals on the 1.5's.

I like the XLR's too. Reasonably priced.

If you're into it, look at some of the tube gun chassis. They're pretty cool too.

There are the Mcrees (sp) also, but I don't like the look. Some people swear by them. Good luck!

+1 for McRee, I was very happy with the one that I had. If you get one, spend the extra money on the version which comes with a stock.

If a wide selection of stocks and chassis is important to someone, they should buy a remington 700.
There are more stocks and chassis systems available for the remington 700s than all other makes/models combined.

There is an AICS chassis for SOME savage actions, but almost all the good deals you see on used AICS chassis will be for Remington short actions.
A savage rifle won't fit into a stock/chassis designed for a remington rifle.
