You will be lucky to get 2 inches of penetration using self-defense ammo. The .380 auto is a get the guy off your back type of a caliber no more than 6 ft in my mind.

The 9mm Luger has over twice the energy and 60% more penetration into wet newspaper than the .380-auto. Just some foof for your thoughts!

    That was my first.

    Now I have G30, 1911 and SP101 for SD.

Any luck finding ammo for it? I was gonna get one but after test-firing one at the range I wasn't too fond of the trigger. It just didnt feel right to me. Or maybe because I love shooting my 1911 hmmm...

Well I have 3 of those 1911's and seldom shoot them compared to the Glocks and Sigs but one thing is for sure, when I pull the trigger on any of those Kimber's the gun goes BANG!!! The next thing I notice is big hole in the center of the bullseye.
