    Nice looking HP Practical you have there. I've been thinking of customizing one of my HP's, and the Practical or a Mk. III that I have come to mind. May I ask what you paid Novak's for the work?

        i have a browning .40 hi power mark III is it just me or is it really hard to pull the slide back sometimes it even feels like its stuck.

          Heres my Bornwing HP. Bought it in 1980. Nickel plated with gold trigger. Came with wood grips with a "B" on them, changed them for crimson trace grips.

            .40 cal HP's have one more locking lug than the 9mm's and the recoil spring is heavier. Apply plenty of lube in the locking lugs and shoot it more! It will loosen up a bit so you can pull that slide back with less effort.

                  Kinda rough looking and I personally dislike anything with Nazi markings---still P35s are nice guns.

                        Mark 1 from the '70's 1st mod was Pachmayr grips & then modified with C&S trigger and hammer in the 00's.
                        My favorite gun and will never part with.
