Congrats! I would love to own a 2022 some day

I noticed this model only comes with one magazine, are additional mags made by Sig expensive? I have also heard that some aftermarket mags do not have the pinkie finger grip at the base, but rather a flush cap.

      X5 L1 9mm

      Hey guys,

First post ( although I've been reading the site for a while now) But tonight after a nice afternoon at the range, I finally got around to shooting some images of the X5:

      cheers,

        Welcome to Calguns mjw353!

That is one beautiful Sig you have there, I love the wooden grip, looks great with that steel tone.

I got 3 extra Sig made mags for 120 from my FFL. If you look in a store or at a range they're going to be more expensive.

And I don't know about any aftermarket mags because I don't have any. I'd just go for the Sig mags, they're excellent quality.

If you can find them MecGar mags are good to go, and in fact I've been told they produce many of the mags for Sig. I have some for my Beretta M9A1 and they function flawlessly.

Nice. Been wondering when I would start seeing those pop up after seeing them at SHOT.

I was excited to see it come into our inventory. Gave my father a call as I was placing it into the display case and he bought it over the phone. We share safes, so I'd say it's partially mine haha I really prefer this grip out of all the P-series pistols. I'm just glad one made it into the safe just in case off-roster stuff goes bye bye!

Also I was told by SIG reps that P220 slides are interchangeable. So all the P220 owners just need P227 frames if they want double stack capacity.

Traded my Sig Combat for a German Limited run P220 w beaver tail but kept my od green slide.
