    My first firearm!

Just brought this baby home! Unfortunately I'm not going to have time to go to the range till next week...
The holster I ordered for it was also waiting for me at my door when I got back too.
Sorry my pics are a tad dark and blurry in some, combination of only having a small desk lamp as the light source and a cheap kodak camera.

Is it an 1861 Navy? That's an awesome first gun and I can't wait to hear a range report!

A beautiful gun it is, love the octagon barrel.

Please, can you post some detail about the gun?? Manufacturer, caliber, new or used, etc...

It's the Uberti .45colt conversion of the 1858 New Army, 8" barrel, walnut grips, new. Hammer is a little stiff but the trigger is nice and smooth. Uh, weighs in at just under 3lbs. unloaded and other than that, can't think of anything else to comment on till I get a chance to shoot it.
Oh, and the holster is one of those triple-K Brand ones from Cabela's.

          Pretty awesome first gun!

I like the way you think.
