^^Bless your freedom beanz. Nice pair you have there. I would be careful positioning them like that, its a recipe for a CZ fight.Leave a comment:

Yesterday was a great gun day. I went to FedEx and picked up my TSO that Stuart at CZC just installed an Accu-bushing. He did a fine job, that man. Then dropped by my FFL and picked up my new Cajun S2 from David at CGW. This one is going to be a gun for taking classes, so the orange grips will have to be replaced by rubber grips some day soon.
The Cajun S2 has the better trigger compared to the TSO. To be fair, I did not ask Stuart to massage the factory TSO trigger, which is pretty good already. The grips are about equal in feel and in size, but the S2 mag release feels much better than the extended mag release on the TSO.
I'm betting with cut-down rubber SP-01 grips, the S2 grip will be much better. I got wide S2 safeties installed on both sides, since I tend to use my right index finger to turn it on, and my right thumb to flip it off. David blended in the magwell to the frame and cut an east-to-west notch on the rear sight to enable one handed slide racking.
I think soon CZ will release 2019-style TSO mag release that will incorporate the S2-style paddle for the wide body TS guns.
What was even better, two of my ATF tax stamps came in last Tuesday and I got to pick them up from the FFL. Had "conjugal visits" with the others left at the store, promising I'll be back in a few months.
Man, I feel so high.Leave a comment:

One of the FFLs close to me got in a new batch of CZ`s a few weeks ago, they had 12 sitting in the display case. I went back yesterday and was surprised they had not sold any of them, or they have more in the back and just restocked.
Just from fondling the CZ handguns I am now a fanatic. They now have one less, I bought the 97B you see there. I was going to snap a picture but they have a strict no picture policy (stupid, I should be able to take a picture of my own gun), luckily I snapped this the week prior. It's got night sights and I plan to keep them. Also I plan to get either red or orange aluminum grips. I really like the orange but I'm a rock-n-roll head-banger so the black on red is more to my taste.
If they still have any in 30 days there will be 2 less than in the picture, I intend to go back for the 75B on the left, no decocker for me. I like cock I guess.
Anyone notice the Tactical Sport on the bottom right? I was tempted but just can't spend that much on a pistol. $900 is about max for me. The $1300+ price tag is just too way much. If you have been specifically looking for a CZ and see the model you want PM me and I will let you know where the shop is. FYI, it's in Contra Costa County.
I was originally deciding between a 1911 (which I still plan to get) and Beretta. once i held the CZ i tossed the idea of the Beretta. Not a bad gun, just the CZ75 feels right. For most people's hands I think the CZ75 is a better fit that the Beretta 92FS. Just my opinion. CZ in Europe and Africa is popular like the Glock in the US. I think the Glock, while still a fantastic gun, is overrated here in the US. The CZ is very underrated here.Last edited by GunnerMichael; 09-02-2018, 8:05 PM.Leave a comment:

Good god Leo, every time I open a new link I find a new favorite. They are all beautiful! That 2 slide bull shadow is insane
I actually really like the way the TS came out - been debating about doing something similar.
Thanks again for sharing all those beauties!Leave a comment:
