Thanks! That's an oldy but goody. How do you like your CZ 97B? I was thinking about adding one of those to the collection, but I haven't seen or picked up one and was wondering about how big of a gun it is.

i've been thinking of getting a CZ in 9mm and it felt really nice while I was handling it. It has a good natural point of aim. The only problem I can think about is that the slide is VERY thin. I know this keeps bore axis low, but do you CZ guys ever have a problem racking the slide because of its thinness?Comment

I *really* like my 97B! It's a very accurate gun, and I have had no FTE's or FTF's. Fair warning - I have never fired a 1911, so I can't comment as to the differences between the two. I've fired a Sig P220 and a Glock 21, and I personally like the 97B more than either of those guns. They're fine, but I actually appreciate the weight of the 97B. Some people have problems with the grip size, though, but this is a really accurate scale I found on the www.czforumsite.info board:
"Get a ruler, spread your little finger and thumb as far apart as possible - measure. My pinkie/thumb span is 9 1/4" and my CZ-97 is perfect for me. If you're in this range, say 8.75 to 9.25+, there is a good chance you'll like the grip."
My measurement is 9" according to this scale, and I love the grip of the 97B. I did replace the factory checkered grips with the factory rubber grips, though, which I would *highly* recommend (only 20 bucks). Or get some sweet custom grips, if you feel like spending a little more.
