    Shiny Colt is Shiny

Colt "Double Diamond" set to commemorate Colt's 150th birthday. The finish is what Colt calls "Ultimate Bright Stainless"

If you like this there is a set for sale right now in the marketplace (not mine).

Wow! That is a very nice finish! I wonder how that would clean up if one decided to actually shoot them and not keep them in a safe/on display?

              Beautiful.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

Very nice! I would sooooo want to shoot them. But I would sooooooo not want to mess up the finish.

Colt really does some amazing things with gunmetal. I have seen photographs of their Royal Blue, and I can only begin to imagine what it must look like in person.

That's really nice. It's shiny but it's not that gaudy mirror over-glossed look.

Colt's Royal Blue is actually my favorite. A few years ago the Colt Custom Shop made 300 Gold Cup National Matches finished in Royal Blue. This was the Talo "Royal National Match" special edition. It really is quite the looker:
