Will's Gunsmithing 1911A1 Mil Spec (UPDATE)

Will did it again! Turn around time on the Deluxe install & blend of the S&A magwell was less than 30 days. The 1st picture is of the work I had completed a few months back. I cannot say enough about his work and attention to detail. Master Gunsmith! The magwell still needs to be finished. (Blued)

    Commander Hammer
    Match Sear

    Novak Sights ( 2 dot rear & 1 front)

    wow, that looks AWESOME.

love the no-FCS look. the SA milspec is a great blank slate to build custom guns off of.

did he do any accurizing/reliability work?

Wow. Just completely convinced me this will be my first purchase. What would be a good price for a new one?

I put about $1,000 bucks into the work so far on this one! I already had the Mil Spec. Will's work is far better than any custom shop gun I own. Just my opinion of course.

            Beautiful!

I'm patiently awaiting a phone call from Will to have me drop off my pistol.

I just dropped the 1911 back off at Will's, he's doing some shake & bake on the slide stop and thumb safety (red tint). He also is installing a Smith & Alexander Magwell w/ blending. Will update with pics.

Will built this and a few others for me:

The full length dust cover rail makes a world of difference in the "when I run out of bullets I'm going to beat you to death with the pistol" look that causes bad guys to run in fear, and lesser men to feel inadequate. It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!

Did you have to buy the parts and he just installed them?? I'm looking to have some work done. He did a great job on your gun and the other guns I've seen him work on.

I told him what I wanted and Will ordered the parts for me. I highly recommend Will O'Hara to anyone looking to have some work done to their 1911!!

Very nice. What was the turnaround time on it?

Another recommendation for Will. The guy is an artist with a 1911. I have two guns with him now getting some work done.

For the work I had done about 3 months, which is very reasonable considering his craftsmanship and demand!
