Where is all the love for the Makarov pistols?

Soviet, East German, Russian, Bulgarian, hell, even Chinese Maks are welcome here!

In fact, anything firing 9x18 can call this thread home!

Those all look like they've seen some use, how much were each when you got em? And did you have to jump through any legal hoops to get them?(except the Bulgarian, that one is actually DOJ legal)

Here's 9x18 pistols. The Russian commercial IJ70 has moved on. I'm looking for a Russian military and an East German. The other Mak is a Bulgarian. Two P64s, a pair of CZ82s and a PA63

Maks are pretty much all over outside CA. Bulgarians are seen daily in gunshops and the Russian commercials are common too. All others are pretty scarce. I visited 2 gunshops today and found 1-Bulgarian and 2-Russian commercials, one of the Russians was the hi-cap model. Chinese, East German, Russian military -- those are all very very scarce.

BTW -- do you get to go shooting more these days or do you keep yourself chained down at work?
