Reopening Part Deux! We have a more powerful server, twice the CPU and four times the RAM.
I'm kind of afraid to say this but... let's stress test this thing!
I stumbled onto the Andor Dynamics Gen 3 Mag Release Conversion Kit while browsing for mag release button options for Gen 3 Glocks, so I bought and installed it. It's a Gen 4/5 style mag release button for Gen 3 Glocks that requires permanent modification of the frame but it was worth it imo. I can reach the button now without having to alter my grip (the Vickers and OEM extended ones never worked well for me in terms of reach) and it's still nice and low profile. Anyways, just thought I'd share this since I don't see too much out there about this particular mod.
I have the slide on a Gen 3 frame like you. Using a gen 5 marksman barrel. Chose the slide because it looked kind of alike an RMR cut gen 5 slide. But I was looking at adding a set of these Truglo MOS sights. Was wondering if there would be enough clearance between the rear sight and the optic. And if they would cowitness with the red dot: TruGlo Tritium Pro Handgun Sight Set for Glock Low MOS | 19% Off 5 Star Rating w/ Free Shipping (opticsplanet.com)
I got some info on Optics Planet, someone asked the same question as you. They answered that the sight would give you lower 1/3 cowitness with a red dot optic. If you want the iron sights to absolute cowitness with a red dot, youd need to get ones that are supressor height
Yes, its Remsport from eBay. Its reqlly goid quality. It has good maching, finish and fitment. It works perfectly in my G19 without and modifications. It fits and works perfectly like oem. I got it because I like forward slide serrations on my pistols. Those iron sights are thecTrijicon tritium supressor height night sights. I think itd be ok. If your Gen 5 just has oem Glock sights, they wont be visible in the window of a red dot optic. I got supressor height sights because I want absolute cowitness to use irons, in case my red dot goes down

What make is that slide? I got one that looks just like it made by Remsport. What sights are those? Truglo gen 5 MOS sights? Was wondering if a gen 5 MOS rear sight would interfere with the optic on my Remsport slide.
