    My new Colt Commander

    Just bought this from a buddy at work...Pre-70 series Colt Commander with only around 500 rounds through it. Has a small idiot mark but other than that pretty flawless...He bought it brand new for $105 in 1968, said he only wanted $350 and I couldn't get my money out fast enough. Also got a Belgian made Hi-Power and an Old style Ruger Blackhawk in .41 magnum. All for under $1K. I am very happy today =)

              Wow! Great deal. Commanders are my favorite 1911s. You'll almost certainly be very pleased with this acquisition.

                  That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. Dosen't show up on your airport X-ray machines, here, and it cost more than you make in a month.

                              why cant i ever get this lucky. as others posters have said the commander is one of my favorites as well.
