sorry i kinda fell off this thread. They do take some work in fitting them together so i wouldn't suggest doing one unless you have some knowledge some tools and a lot of time to read about fitting barrels. slides, beaver tails, seers, and triggers. it is kind of hard to price out since i found a great deal on the frame slide and barrel for $400. probably after mags and all the internals id say somewhere close to $900ish roughly. it operates flawlessly, no jams in the first 150 rounds after a few more trips when i actually get fully acclimated to the pistol i will post more on the group size it took a while to get the bomar's sighted in. Plus havent been able to go shooting much, but i am building a stainless 9mm commander and will get those pictures up sometime in the next few months when i am done. As well to anyone thinking of duracoating anything black.... dont.... instead find a company that does black oxide. I will be redoing the frame on this by having it black oxide. i suggest a 600 polish for prepping for black oxide. i will try not to neglect this thread as bad in the future. if you have more specific questions let me know or send me a message. As well please take a second and check out my buddy's 1911. he has a more comprehensive photo tutorial of what he did for his.

Parts is parts and pieces are pieces, but it take a knowledgeable craftsman to put it all together. Get job my man!
