I don't think it's a comp, it's the cylinder gap all revolvers have. (all but the Nagant revolver)

I took this pic in Iraq 2 years ago. its my paladin and crew inside. shooting 155mm (100 pounds each) rounds at the bad guys! normally im the #1 man (guy who loads and pulls trigger) but I wanted to get a pic of the muzzle blast so I let my friend substitute for me this time. we were shooting 7 red bags. lotta recoil and a BIG BOOM!
