    Cool pic. It looks as though that if it was the bullet, you would've hit the ceiling. Firing Line HB?

      I did a bunch of ballistics photography in school, it takes an Edgerton flash that fires a 20,000 volt in air carbon spark at 1/2,000,000 of a second to stop a bullet mid flight. It also requires a break beam millisecond timer to precisely place the bullet in the frame.
      So, no, that is not the bullet.

      Another cool/interesting fact about the Edgerton flash is that in order to fire as fast as it does it uses the trigger from a nuclear weapon, and so the school (and instructor teaching the class) needed to have an FBI file created.

      Here is a photo I made using the Edgerton flash and the Schlieren technique to visualize the pressure wave from the muzzle. That is the actual bullet.
