SIG P228 9mm

I heard it was one of the best-rated 9mm pistols ...ever...

It shoots nice, patterns fine out to 75yds with WWB ammo, not so sure about the GDHP +P yet. Putting the new roll pins in the slide is a bear of a job, disassembly and installation of the rebuild kit is hard if it's your first time. The controls are easy to reach but the bump in the left grip makes it a bit hard to reach the slide release. Needs new night sights, aside from that, it's great.

German SIGs shoot "groups," American SIGs "pattern."

As the original owner of 1994 W. Germany P228 with over 7K +, I will NEVER, EVER get rid of it. .... Not a single hiccup and shoots like a dream. Congrats!

I have several SIGS but I carry GLOCKS!!! Reason is that SIG just does not have a 10mm caliber available and I do like those 10mm pistols, especially if something needs like myself, family or home needs defending.

I tend to not put that first shot down the barrel on the target as easy as my GLOCKS with 3.5-lb trigger pull. I do believe the SIG is more like a drastic 9-lb trigger pull on the first shot. NOT GOOD FOR SHOOTING TIGHT GROUPS.
