First Colt 1911 purchase - PPT

Just showing off my first Colt 1911 PPT purchase that I got it released today.

Colt Combat Commander. 70SC 4-Digit Serial. First Production Combat Commanders so I read up on, as most CC have 0 as first digit making it a 5-Digit Serial. (Maybe the Colt collectors or experts can clear this up or confirm it.)

Mine started that way. Its a 70SC 5-digit from 1977 but with a series 80 Officers slide from the late 80s and a few other nice bits. Kind of a frankengun to be honest.
