most of the HK fanatics are purists so you won't see a lot of custom HKs...just my humble opinion.

I might have to do something similar to my gray VP9 though I'd like to shoot something like this first because that's a hefty investment.

Agreed with above; bought my USP45 because I didn't feel it needed to be modified out of the box. Can't say the same for another brand that rhymes with 'block'.

- EFK Fire Dragon Match Extended Barrel (compensated)
- Quick Detach Match Weight (mostly to cover the extended barrel)



Super fun to shoot. The chamber tolerance on custom barrel was super tight. Factory rounds had failures to extract. I used metal polish a lot and put 500+ rounds though. Started with a 100 rounds, detected the issue. Did a lot of the metal polishing that evening. Next week, I put 500 rounds through (without a single failure).

It's a really fun/cool shooter.

I get it. My other HK's are stock. That being said, this thing is a pretty sweet range gun. Looks aside, it runs pretty awesome.

I've been toying around with the idea of getting an extra P2000 slide and/or USP slide and getting it cut for an RMR.

All my H&K's are stock right now as well.

Doesn't the match weight also act like a compensator when the barrel is not extended?
As in compensating for muzzle flip.

I never understood why people were bypassing that with longer barrels. That is if it does help reduce muzzle flip not only by weight but also by providing that gas impact area on the bottom of the U shape.
