Single Stack 9mm

I've always liked the single stacked 9mm. It felt nice in the hand and shot a formidable round. For awhile it seemed double stack high capacity was the rage but the single stack seems to be making a comeback. So, those of you who has one of these wonder nines, post a pic. Here's mine, a Kimber Custom Stainless Steel Target II in 9mm.

Rock Island Armory 9mm 1911

Here's mine:







It started out life as a basic, no frills Rock Island Armory 9mm GI 1911. It was worked on by Mark Bunach (www.ocgunsmith.com) who turned it into a bowling pin and steel challenge gun (minus the compensator, of course).

I love shooting my single stack 9mm 1911. I have small hands. That gun fits me like a glove. Plus, it is cheaper to shoot than .45 ACP, so that is a huge plus. And, it's a joy to shoot since the recoil is less, allowing for more controllablility and better accuracy. It's really accurate! It's a real tack driver (with a Kart gunsmith-fit barrel). Single stack 9mm 1911's are a blast to shoot!
