i take mine out about every 2-3 months and apply another round of polishing to it - just now started to really break it down and do a better job on the trigger and the cylinder

im starting to get results - not done, but im getting there

Wow, if you don't mind me asking what type of Mother's polish do you use? The Mag and Aluminum polish? My Colt replica is nickel plated and want to make sure I do not hurt the finish but after seeing yours I wouldn't mind putting some elbow grease into making it look better.
