    D.E. 50cal conversion?

A freidn of a friend is apparently dead set on a Desert Eagle with his tax refund.
I recall a couple years ago, you could only buy the .44Mag and then buy a .50 barrel to appease the California overlords. Is this still the only way to get a DE .50?
    Any clarification is appreciated

Unless you find one for PPT that's a true .50 caliber the conversion kit you speak of is the only way.

      No big deal.

Buy the 44 and sell the barrel and mags.

Buy the 50 barrel and mags.

All better. They run better in 50 anyway.

That's it? Just a barrel and different magazines?
Sounds like he has some serious money to spend.

FPS shows you at the 1:20 mark.

I bought the 44 and found a 50 upper on fleabay. Long barrel.
It was fun until the ammo costs exceeded the costs of a new Glock

I will tell you that the .44 is the worst thing I have ever dealt with. I was happy when I got it from 100% FTE rate to 30% (different ammo).

Also, I haven't actually found any .50 ae conversion kits available. So unless someone can link it, I'm not sure where you'd get the kit.

Soginator...change your ammo. DE's are finicky but usually perform flawlessly with the right ammo. I also have .50AE barrels and mags in stock if that's the 'kit' youre referring to.
