New Beretta M9 Day

Hi all,

Picked up my Beretta M9 a few days ago from Turner's. This is the Blem version they were selling for $469. Figured I would post the pics so you all can see the "blem." If you look at the frame of the gun, it slightly less dark than the slide. There is no scratch on the gun itself. When I first saw the demo gun at Turner's I couldn't tell something was wrong. I thought that's how the gun was supposed to be.

Anyways, she is a beaut. Solid pistol. Everything about this gun screams "heavy duty." Every time you pull the slide, cock the hammer, pull the trigger, load the magazine, it just feels like a tough gun. This thing is rugged for sure. Can't wait to get a holster for it.

I'm not clear on whether you were able to actually inspect your purchase or not prior to initiation of the DROS.

Nice score, OP and great looking gun. If I had known about the "blem" sale I would have picked one up. These are great guns and yours looks just fine. Like you say, I would have just thought that that was how the gun was supposed to look.

Yep, great deal. I saw the ad on Tuesday and it said sold out. I called anyway and the guy told me they were gone on Sat.

I got mine a few days ago & if you look at it under a bright light you can notice some differences it doesn't bother me I kind of like it it's like a two tone I'm glad I jumped on that deal. Now I'm just waiting to see if I can also get the free promo gear.

Got one as well. Yes, we /me and my brother/ were allowed to inspect the guns. Frame off color, that is all. My brother just ran 400 rounds trough his gun, no problems.
