Need help purchasing Sig P220 Combat

Hello,

Does anyone know the difference between the two Sig P220 Combat part numbers below?

220R-45-CP-DS-CA
220-45-CP-DS

Both are for the Sig P220 Combat. As far as I know, CA dealers will still sell me the version that does not have CA in the part number but all of a sudden this Sig with a "CA" in the part number has been showing up in online retailers as well as the Sig web site.

Anyone know if the CA version has the dreaded LCI (loaded chamber indicator) and Mag disconnect? Sig shows other "CA" guns as having an LCI on their website but is mute on the P220 Combat. Also there are no pictures of the LCI for this pistol on their site as there is for others.

I plan to call Sig but I work when they are open and it has been difficult lately.

"R" in the model number means Rail.
Any sig that says "CA" in the sku/model has the dreaded appendages.

Most but not all Sig '-CA' guns have LCI. I don't think this one does. It may have mag safety but could be removed. Hopefully you can get clarification.

I also have a "CA" model- No LCI or MDS.

The p220 combat is still on roster, however Sig is NOT shipping non-LCI/mag disconnect equipped guns to CA. if your local shop can get through a distributor, you may still be able to get ones without the LCI. Riflegear had some left last time i checked. the "CA" just designates the "CA Compliant" part. Again, since it is still on roster, you may still be able to get one without the LCI. Good luck.

The P220 Combat has never lapsed being renewed on the roster and no changes that disqualified it from being renewed. So when it was initially put on roster after the required testing it never had the LCI or mag disconnect as it wasn't a prerequisite to qualify as an CA roster gun at the time. Mine never had those useless features.

Thanks for all your responses. I will be buying at Riflegear. NO LCI or mag disconnect. They are holding for me to come in today. I have seen this in person in their store for some time and have been drooling over it. Now seems like a good time to buy.
