Probably worth $1000 to $1200. Probably make more parting it out. Franken builds don't seem to hold their value very well

It's a pistol...I'd say he could probably get $1500 for it easy

Thanks for the input guys. It's my first ar pistol and its a blast to shoot. More than I can say with my kriss. I've changed up the iron sights to troys and got a co witness red dot.

Considering that would cost about $1,200 to build today and the Kriss cost you over $1800 I'd say he got the better deal.

Depends if the Kriss Vector worked properly or not.

My buddy took his Vector Pistol out to the range and dissapointed is putting it mildly.

They jam at first but mostly because people don't clean them before shooting them or shoot reloads. I own a couple and they work flawlessly, they run a lot better after about a 1k rounds.

It was thouroughly cleaned out and oiled before taking it to the range. WWB was used.

Jamming aside, the charging handle was extremely difficult to operate and the sights were about 6 " low and 3" to the right at 7 yards ...

Charging handle is very hard at first, shoot it and it'll loosen up. I can rack mine with my pinky now.

Which sights? Diamond or Magpul? You have to sight them in like any sights.

Yes, it needs a thousand rounds through it before it really breaks in.

Also when you charge the handle hold it as close to the gun as possible. If you hold it on the edge you actually add more force and it is harder to rack.

They come with Kriss Diamond Sights (diamond shaped) or Magpuls. They are not sighted in from the factory so you need to sight them in. Also remember this is not a normal pistol so 7 yards is not what it should be sighted in for. Mine are sighed in at 25 yards and even then I put it 1" low at 25 yards.

I guess if it had a stock the charging of the handle would be easier, lol.

I am guessing it came with the Kriss Diamond Sights.

If the sights were that far off at 7 yards, I am sure they would be even more so at 25. The back of the gun has a nice flat surface to place on a table with so I am fairly certain that the trigger pull had little to do with it. I am guessing the sights were just slapped on at the factory. Hopefully an RMR will be purchased soon.
