I saw a consigned Glock at a gunshop the other day that had a really shiny frame. In the past I had also seen an XD with a shiny frame.
What causes polymer frames of hand guns to become really shiny? I've come across several Glocks with thousands of rounds down the pipe and with lots of ware on the slide and scratches on the frame but none had shiny frames. Is this caused by using non polymer friendly cleaning solvents on frames?
