    Sp2022 ss guide rod accuracy

I recently replaced the guide rod in my sp2022 with a stainless one. The pistol has always showed me great accuracy. After replacement, it seems like the grouping wasnt there. I've only shot it once since, so I may have just been having a bad night. Just wanted to know if anyone else has has experienced this.
Why is everything good???? Illegal, Immoral, fattening???

It really shouldn't make any difference. The best way to be sure is to bring someone and ask them to install the SS rod or the plastic rod, not tell you which, then you shoot it. Have them swap rods and see if you can tell which one is which. I'll bet it's the shooter and day you shoot rather than the rod.

I didn't think the guide rod had much to do with the accuracy of a pistol.

And if the gun shot well, why would you change the guide rod?

          Why did you replace it?
