I know that a nice 1911 can cost more than double but what is it about Sigs that makes them known to be pricey?

I've wanted a Sig ever since I was old enough to buy one, but money always kept me from buying one. I finally bought a well used P6 and it shoots just as well as a new 226. They're worth the $$$.
Now if you got money to burn, check out an HK P7M8. I talked trash about them until I shot one. Those are WELL worth the $1400 price tag."If a man hasn't found something worth dying for, he isn't fit to live." - Martin Luther King Jr.

Any SIG Sauer pistol is always quality pistol. You'll definitely get more than what you paid for.Comment

I bought my P229 .40 nine years ago. Never had a single problem with it, it's accurate...it's just a fantastic handgun. I think that $900 was money well spent.
When I'm in the market for my next semi auto, it'd be difficult for me to even consider another brand. Spend some quality time with one and it will all become crystal clear

Sigs aren't that much more than anything else. Are you paying retail?

When you are in the market, I'd like to suggest that you take a look at the Steyr if you get the chance. Out of all my guns, my M40 gets the most workout! My Sig of course is a wonderful weapon, but I've always liked shooting the Steyr.I bought my P229 .40 nine years ago. I think you will find that it is an outstanding gun also!Quemadmoeum gladuis neminem occidit, occidentis telum est.")
