Making a choice for a full size 9mm.

Had a talk with my friend this AM. Turned into a heated discussion. Lol. So You need to make a choice between : Beretta std. 92G, Non Ca std. SIG P226 and Gen4 G17 . Here are the conditions.: You can have any magazines You want, You dont worry about concealment and must leave the guns factory stock, what would You pick? PS. Price is not an issue and You can shoot all three well.

        You forgot the CZ option.
        Unless it's a p226x-5. Then maybe I'll consider it.

Under the conditions, I would go with the Beretta. Now had you said Gen 3 17...

Eliminate Beretta from the list. It has a safety that can get you into trouble like it did for Gale Weathers from Top Story:

92G-P does not have a safety

Can't get used to the Glock grip angle after shooting 1911s a looooong time and SIGs all feel 'top heavy' to me when I'm shooting them. Both great guns and except for personal preference, I cannot say anything bad about either of them. That leaves the 92G and that's the one in this group I would pick anyway. From what I understand, 'G' model Berettas are decocker-only versions. 'F' models have the decocker/safety function, like my PX4.

This was basically my list for when I wanted my first handgun... after going to the range and trying them I ended up liking the CZ 75 I saw when I was finishing and said hey let me try that to. For me it had the best feel and best groupings.

If I have to go with those 3 I'm going with the Beretta or the G4G17 with Beretta being just a tad higher.

not a glock fan myself. i would go with a 226 or beretta 92fs.

i like the 226 overall. i shoot better with a 92fs tho. could be that the beretta has a slightly longer barrel than the sig. 4.9 vs the 4.4 i believe.
