    Sig 250?

I'm debating between a sig 250 or an 229 elite. If anyone in the Manteca/Jackson/Sac area has one and would be willing to let me check it out, please PM me.

Sig P250 likely will never be added to the handgun roster.

Good luck finding one available via PPT.

I'm am well aware of the laws regarding the safe roster. I'm not looking for a ppt, merely someone who has one.
I would like to see one in person, see how I like it, without having to drive to nevada.

Sig 250 in California for a day --

Shot well -- no better than my XD-9 but real value is ever acquired is in the multi-caliber capability in a post new gun laws world.
Don't know if they will be able to meet CA requirements (which get loonier each year -- I think they now need a VOICE RECORDING that says in ten languages out loud "Loaded GUn!"

I want one of these sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo BAD!!!! I would love the interchangability that the XD series just doesn't have. You can get a .40 and change it to a 9mm barrel, and a .22LR kit that you can get, but thats about it. This is just a sweet piece.

p229 would be your best bet, considering that 1 of the only ways u can get a p250 is by being LEO

edit: please do correct me if my information is wrong

As previously stated, I know the laws around the safe roster. But I'd like to fondle one before purchasing one.

So let me get this right, if I have a friend who is LEO and wants a p250, he buys it, decides a while later he doesn't like it, I could buy it from him PP??? How is it that LEO can avoid the safe handgun roster?

LEOs are exempt, as are intrafamily transfers, even from an out of state parent/kid

Irvington Arms had/has the P250 display. It was basically dummy frames with each of the grip options. You could at least see how the grip/frame fits in your hand and you'd only have to go to Fremont.
