Yes you can buy as many guns on a single ppt as you can afford, rifles and pistols doesn't matter.

What about the 1 in 30? You can dros a long gun and pistol on the same dros. Multiple long guns are fin but in less your exempt from 1 in 30 I would think you could only do one handgun on a dros.

If it is PPT you can buy as many handguns as you want on a single DROS. You can also combine a 1-in-30 pistol from FFL inventory with as many PPT pistols as you want. I have bought 9 pistols this month, probably 14 in the past 30 days. If you are good - you get your sellers to meet at the FFL same time and do them all on one DROS. I have done five pistols on one DROS, from two different PPT sellers and one from the FFL. I did two on one DROS the week before last from two Calguns PPT sellers. I have also done PPT pistols same day at different FFLs just because I couldn't get the sellers at the same place and time.

PPT - no limits except your bankroll.

on a PPT, roster and 1 in 30 don't matter. dros away. but you still have a 10 day wait. actually better to PPT multiples together so you only have to pay 1 dros fee.

Except in the City of Los Angeles.
Los Angeles has an ordinance that does not exempt PPT from the 1 in 30 day wait.

                    Asked and answered.

Note that this question is about California law, not handguns.
