Their gun buyer was at shot show when I called last, so there might be a little delay, but they get stuff in pretty regularly.

Riflegear is the Best of the Best next to my LGS in Ventura - Island View Enterprises. I live in Santa Barbara(which is a HUGE drive) and have purchased many firearms from RG without ever an issue. In store service is superb and shipping to my FFL in SB has been great as well. Highly recommend!

Just my 2 cents but I bought two SSE guns and thought they were the best place ever. I usually went in when they opened so there was no line. After those two purchases, RG's enamor waned on me for the following reason:

        Manipulating prices on popular pistols
        • CZ 75 SP-01 at $699. MSRP is $680! Yes, I know it's hard to find but Turner's and Ammo Bros each had them in occasionally for $650. OC Firearms and Ammoparadise had them sparingly for $630.
        • HK VP9 - originally listed on their website for $649 but changed to $699 when it went in stock. It was explained that it was an error. OC Firearms had a hard time getting VP9s in but when they came in, they were in the lower $600s. For the volume of guns that RG is moving, I'm sure there's still profit on the "erroneous" price of $649.
        • Walther PPQ 5" - their price is still great at $649 but it was originally $629 for a few months but it went OOS a few times. They got a big shipment in and the price went up to $649.

I don't like those games they're playing but I would still shop there if I really wanted something that I can't find from OCF or Ammoparadise.

+1 .....guess I'm not the only one who saw that and felt the same. I bought from them once, 2 years ago, then found Ammo Paradise and didn't have to drink the RG Kool Aid while standing around for an hour...or two

I've bought several guns from Rifle Gear, but that was before the most recent buying crush of the past year, so I can't speak for their current CS. I did recently do a SSE purchase through Ammo Paradise and was very pleased with Grant.

Have you ever tried Gun Genie though...my best purchases have been made through there!

RifleGear will offer a 2% cash discount if you ask. Not much but it's a good to shave off a couple bucks.

Shop around. Do your homework. That's the best advice I can say.

I ordered a rifle from them yesterday, and they called this morning to confirm what kind of bullet button I wanted, and it shipped TODAY (free shipping). I will see it tomorrow because its only going to San Diego.

Riflegear is a great gun store. Their employees are very professional as I can feel. No matter new purchase or transfer, as long as you have needed document ready, it usually took less than 15 minutes to finish all the paper work. Pick up is also super fast and efficient.
