I'm using lite here in Los Angeles, it's good stuff, stays were you put it. sometimes I use a bit of oil to thin it.

I've been using the standard for the last 7-8 years. It seems not to care what the weather is. Shot from the low 40's to 115 or so and didn't notice and difference in the way the guns functioned.

I really like it for my HD and carry guns, it really stays put. No oil to get on your furniture or in your holster.

      Being north of
70 has definite advantages: I was able to do all my stupid stuff before video cameras, smartphones, utube, and the internet.

I live in Norcal and use the lite version for most of my general applications; no problems thus far. I love the stuff.

Slapping an upper onto a lower is not "building" an AR-15.

I ran slide glide (medium) on my handguns for quite some time. Went to it after some bad experiences with Tetra. It was fine. Never had an issue.

Never the less, I have since moved to FireClean and haven't looked back.

I used this stuff for years and I have yet to try anything better. The standard works year round but I use the heavy during the warmer months. The heavy gives me a sense of lower felt recoil.
