It can be made lighter, especially with an SA trigger but where he has it at is an excellent comprimise between lightness and tactile feel. I actually raised mine up to that.

2 lb triggers on 1911's are fun though.

The DA will get a tad lighter after you shoot it some.

Well stock for stock, there is no contest. The Match Elite trigger is excellent but a tad heavier than I would like. I am hoping to get it modded later this year.

It is difficult, especially when you rack the slide and it is smooth as glass.

why did you go for a lighter recoil spring? i would think the recoil would be more since the spring is weaker to slow down the slide rearward during recoil; hence muzzle flip or felt recoil would be more than using stock spring?
