    Colt Pocket Nine

Need your opinion on how much this pistol is worth. It's in a very functional condition just test fired it yesterday. Cosmetic wise it seems the pistol spent a lot of time carried in a pocket or purse along with loose coins and other objects that can leave marks on the finish. No deep scratches just lots of marring all over the beaded finish of the frame and slide.

There are only a couple on gun broker, one starting at $1750 that is in a little better shape than yours, & one starting at $2100 custom, neither have bids on them.

I find it's better to look at completed auctions on GB to see what things have actually been sold for.

Seems like there's no difference between NIB and used w.original box & such; they seem to be going for $900+. The only one that went cheaper recently was used in excellent shape, no box or papers, that had a buy it now of $650 which was hit purty quick, so who knows how high it would've went.

You add in the roster factor, and the general willingness of well-heeled Cali collectors to spend.... and I'd say $750 easy.

Dang it! They just keep getting more expensive, even as there are more & more equivalent or even better options on the market. I have a weird problem when I get a gun to use like every other, then it becomes collectible and I feel like I shouldn't be shooting it anymore!

          With PF9:

It's in rough shape and an oddball that didn't sell well.

To a Colt oddball collector like me. It's an $800 gun I'd pay 1K for.
