My friend is thinking about selling his Glock 30. It's a GEN2 and I know very little about glocks (never cared for them myself). I did a little bit of searching but couldn't find many that had been sold on here or other sites. What should he ask for it?

My pops bought a gen2 9mm (don't know which model) about a year ago for $375. Not sure if that helps or not.As the great warrior poet Ice Cube once said "If the day does not require an AK, it is good."Comment

I have a gen2 G21, I don't think it's worth anymore than a Gen3 G21, maybe even less.
There is no collector value for Glocks typically, they were made by the millions and ... big whoop, they still make them, but with a more features now. (backstrap, etc)==================

The 30's pretty much started at Gen2.5 (yes-finger grooves, no-accessory rail).
Not my favorite generation of Glock, but some may like it. That frame with out the rail may actually go well with the 30S/36 slide for ccw, less to snag (maybe).Comment

2nd gen Glocks are really nice to hold ( I think ). Definitely worth $400.00.sigpic
