When was this Glock made????? PICS ADDED!!

I recently acquired a G17. It is said to be a Gen2. I am trying to decipher its build date and actual generation. The first three numbers of the serial are "ARM." Anyone have any knowledge on this? The charts on GlockTalk are a bit confusing.

Looks like the fist G17 I bought in 1992. Not sure of the serial # though, I would have to dig it out of the safe.

Go on Glock Talk there is a list the of serial numbers and also the proof date on the barrel.

Looks like it's in great shape for a second gen. It wasn't shot a lot.

I had a very similar looking glock 19. It was from 91'.

Those things are cool. I regret selling it, but I was the 2nd owner and wasnt a big gun enthusiast like I am now.

yup. Gen 2 was introduced in 1988.

I bought it from the original owner. He was an elderly gentleman. He says it was used twice. For a total of less than 500 rounds. I do believe him.
