    What's wrong with this picture?

Hey, can someone check the pressure for me?

You do know that the pressure gauge is for when your filling it, not shooting it right?

Yes, I'm aware the air cylinder is removable for filling. It's still a ridiculous design. Instead of removing the cylinder to check the pressure, the temptation to sneak a peek at your current pressure level puts you at risk. Especially if a newbie to firearms that hasn't developed the best judgement decides to look.

Despite the technical difficulties of putting a gauge on the side of a pressure vessel, it would still be advisable. Mounting one on the nipple end would be even better. Or perhaps a locking swivel cover to hide the gauge when the cylinder is mounted to eliminate temptation.

They chose the worst possible place to mount a gauge.

Hahaha - reminds me of the old guy who had a hang fire with his shotgun and nearly took his head off. Glad he was okay, but boy that was some stupid **** to do.

The barrel is facing the wrong direction.

#1) It is a single shot.

                  #2) A "newbie" wouldn't own a gun like that.

#3) The pellet won't kill you, and ... (see #4)

#4) You should be wearing safety glasses when shooting.

Technically, shouldn't the thread be posted here:

                      .
That's a complete load of BS. PCP airguns are extraordinarily powerful. They are capable of taking large game (depending on caliber) and could easily kill an adult human if shot in the head or vitals. Newbies buy expensive guns all the time. Money is required to own guns, not knowledge.

Wait - the safety glasses I wear at the range don't stop bullets? Dangnabit!
